Bespoke Tableware with Norman Prahm

We are delighted to have completed a commissioned by Norman Prahm, architects and interior designers, on some bespoke tableware for a residential project in North London. Norman Prahm selected pieces from Once’s tableware to build a collection of handmade ceramics for their client. The collection includes plates and bowls for breakfast and dinner and also mugs for tea at the kitchen table, serving platters and large bowls for long lunches and parties and also abstract patterned ceramics that can double as decorative objects for the home.

Additionally, Norman Prahm wanted to work with linens that would fit well with their colour scheme and our handmade pottery. They selected French linens from our collection of napkins and tea towels, small details that make a big difference to the feeling of the interiors.

We loved working on this collection with Norman Prahm and have followed the practice since their considered redesign of the award-winning Kinneuchar Inn in Fife, Scotland. Their approach to buildings and spaces is to consider every detail of how the space will be used and how it will feel to its inhabitants, with a focus on natural, sustainable materials. The spaces they create are at once beautiful - and calm, relaxed, easy to live in.

If you are interested in building your own collection of handmade, bespoke pottery and would like to chat to us about it please get in touch or pop into the shop and studio to have a tea and a chat with us. We make all Once tableware bespoke at our on-site studio - from large, decorated serving platters to tiny salt and pepper pots, these items work well as wedding or new house gifts, too.
