A beautiful ramen bowl - a delight to use and to look at. Handmade on the wheel and glazed in blue, white and green glazes which mix and pool in the middle of the bowl, looking good enough to eat. Some of these bowls have the glaze dripping down the outside of the bowl in an authentic approach to glazing, some have a cleaner finish to the glaze with a clear line, both show the toasted clay underneath. Jynsym Ong is a London-born studio potter currently based in Oxford. She studied ceramics at Clay College in Stoke on Trent and in 2019 was selected as a Daiwa Scholar, which enabled her to undertake an apprenticeship at Mitoh Kama in Karatsu, Japan. She was a recipient of TOAST's New Makers programme in 2023.
