Handcrafted Oak Bench
These Oak wood bow-legged benches are made by Paul Beaty, an architect/designer who handcrafts wooden furniture items in his West London garden studio for Once. Paul sources fallowed wood such as Oak and Elm from Sussex in small quantities, these quantities cannot be used by timber merchants but are ideal for smaller pieces.
The benches are an evolution of Paul’s simple Oak stools for Once and are made in 2 sizes: 1000mm and 1200mm. These items can also be made to order in six weeks hello@once-studio134.co.uk
- Edition of one of each size for Once
By Paul Beaty
Working from his workshop and studio in Hammersmith, West London, Paul Beaty designs and makes his own furniture and ceramics. He designs his furniture using his experience as an architect, and is currently working on a series of stools, benches and tables using oak sourced from storm felled trees in Sussex. Paul also takes commissions to help clients achieve their own design ideas.
